Jerne auditorium, Mærsk Tower
Panum Institute, Blegdamsvej 3B, DK-2200 Copenhagen
The Second International Modeling Immune System and Pathogen (MISP) Interactions Research Camp will be held in Comwell Borupgaard, Snekkersten, Denmark, from December 4th-8th, 2017 as part of a collaboration between Institute Pasteur and DNRF center of excellence PERSIMUNE, Rigshospitalet.
The research camp will be a multidisciplinary workshop involving attending physicians, basic researchers and data experts with the theme “The new horizon in Biomedicine”. During the five days of the workshop, participants will actively work on one of four pre-selected, formatted datasets to address research questions relevant to biomedicine and precision medicine. The workshop will be a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in handling complex biological data under the tutorship of world-class experts on big data. Participants will also take advantage of this international workshop to improve and extend networking opportunities in research. Furthermore, the work conduced at the MISP Camp may lead to publications in high impact journals.
An important component of the MISP Research Camp will be TED-like talks given by renowned international experts in the field – typically experts that have participated in the research camp. The TED-talks have been scheduled to Friday evening, December 8th, from 17:00 to 21:00, in the Jerne auditorium, Panum Institute. The TED-talks will be video recorded, televised and divulged on social media with an audience of delegates from Denmark and from across the globe. Further information about the TED-talks will be circulated closer to the event. This event will be open for 200-300 persons – so please note this in your calendar.
